My family and myself

Sadly, Jim passed away in 2002. Jim looked after our electron microprobe since 1978. Prior to that he operated the microprobe at the U. of Tennessee. He also volunteered at the crime lab of the Mesa Police Dept., where he helped them analyze gunshot residue using automated particle programs. He was married to Pat (who runs an SEM at SEMTEC, with Ed Holdsworth) and they have a son Patrick.
