My family and myself
After working at ASU, Rafal spent two years working as a senior research officer in Oxford and seven years as a Royal Society University Research Fellow in Cambridge. He then moved to the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen to become the founding Director of the Center for Electron Nanoscopy, which was inaugurated in December 2007. He is now (December 2010) responsible for more than 40 scientific and technical staff. His wife Beata works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Photonics Engineering in the Technical University of Denmark. Their daughters Ola and Ewa are now 12 and 8 years old, and speak better Danish than they do.
