My family and myself
I married Steve Pangerl (another former geologist) in September 2003 and worked as a forensic scientist for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension from 2004-2008. When I was pregnant with my first child, I returned to a previous employer, Pace Analytical Services, Inc., an environmental laboratory that also places laboratory support staff with major local laboratories. I have enjoyed supporting the Optics and Nanoscale Mapping group of the 3M Corporate Research Analytical Laboratory for the past five years. I live in a suburb of St. Paul with my husband Steve, our two senior dogs Merry & Hogan, and our two daughters Julia & Freya, who were born in late 2008 and 2010. We are expecting a third child in July of 2013. The photo is from one of the family hikes we took last summer.
