My family and myself
Although Tom has maintained a healthy interest in problems of atmospheric chemistry and environmental studies, recently his main efforts have been devoted to his teaching responsibilities as professor of chemistry at Colby College. He served for a few years as Chairperson of the department. Now just a “regular citizen,” he recently received a grant to do computer-aided molecular design. He is also doing particle research on aerosols and particles from the Gulf of Maine and has two students working with him. His son Jeff (14) is in high school, daughter Beth is 9. They are both interested in piano and Jeff also plays oboe.
