My family and myself

After many years in the U.S., Kazu is now well settled at Kobe University, where he is continuing his studies of primitive meteorites as Professor of Planetary and Material Science. When he began his laboratory, he struggled to get funds for big instruments like SEM, EPMA and TEM, but he is now fully equipped and expects to produce many results of great interest. In his private life, he is a father of two children, Yutaro (boy, 8) and Yuka (girl, 7). After looking after two children for many years, his wife Yuko is now able to find time to enjoy what she wanted to do, studying English literature, seeing good movies, etc. All the family want to spend time in the US again. Fortunately, none were hurt by the big Kobe earthquake, but Kazuís lab suffered con-siderable damage.
